The golden-hued sun dawns,
Rays of light brighten the earth.
Beautiful flowers bloom,
The fragrant perfume spreads afar.

དུང་མདོག་ཟླ་བ་ཤར།།
Dung dog da wa shar
བསིལ་ཟེར་ས་ལ་འཕྲོས།།
Sil ser sa la trö
རྐང་དྲུག་བུང་བའི་ཚོགས།།
Kang druk bung way tshok
བདེ་བའི་གཉིད་ལ་རོལ།།
De way nyi la röl

The white-conch moon rises,
Lighting up the cool land.
Swarms of six-legged bees 
Enjoy their blissful slumber.

འཇིག་རྟེན་མི་ཡུལ་འདི།།
Jig ten mi yül di
འདི་འདྲའི་སྐྱིད་པ་ལ།།
Din dray kyi pa la
མཐོན་པོ་གངས་རི་ཡོད།།
Thön po kang ri yö
སྔོན་མོ་གཙང་ཆུ་ཡོད།།
Ngön mo tsang chu yö

This world, the land of man,
How wonderful it is!
We have tall snow mountains
And fresh, blue waters!

འདོ་རིག་རྟ་ཕོ་ཡོད།།

གཡང་དཀར་ལུག་ཁྱུ་ཡོད།།

དགའ་བའི་གླུ་ཞིག་ལེན།།

We have intelligent stallions
And flocks of white sheep!
