Note: I know I say this a lot,
but this is one of my favorites! The singers have amazing traditional-style
voices, and seeing all of the Khampas performing in unison to modern-style
music is breathtaking for me. Ascertaining the meaning of the song was a bit of
a challenge, traditional songs usually are not entirely clear--at least to me.
Yet, this song is clearly meant to be sung and danced to, not for reflecting on
the meaning. So perhaps it is best not to focus too much on my awful
translation, and instead get up to sing and dance along with this joyful tune!
