In the land of snows, the cold land of Tibet,

In the pure realm of sacred snowy Tibet,

It is the father-land of this snow land girl.

ཕྱི་མི་འགྱུར་གངས་རིའི་རང་མདངས་ཡོད། །
ནང་མི་འགྱུར་ཁ་བའི་རྣམ་ཤེས་ཡོད། །

Within the nature of the red-faced Tibetans,
Outside, is the unchanging self-radiance of the snowy mountains,
Inside, is the unchanging consciousness of the snow.
