ཁ་ཆར་རླུང་བུ་ངེས་མེད་འཚུབ་ན་ཡང།
Kha char lung bhu ngey mey tshub na yang
ལྷག་བསམ་གངས་རིའི་མདངས་ལ་འགྱུར་བ་མེད།
Lhak sam kang ri dang la gyur wa mey
My homeland is in a place near to the sun
We take joy in the warm sunlight of love
Though the storming snow, rain, and wind could come at any time
The beauty of the benevolent snow mountains is unchanging

ཁ་ཆར་གྲོགས་སུ་བྱས་ཏེ་མཁའ་རུ་འགྲེངས།

གཞོན་པ་ང་ཚོའི་སྙིང་སྟོབས་གངས་དང་འདྲ།
Shön pa nga tsö nying tob kang dang dra
དཀའ་སྡུག་གདོང་གིས་བསུ་བར་འཇིགས་པ་མེད།
Ka duk dong gi su war jig pa mey
My forefathers are the lofty snow mountains
With the help of snow and rain, they rise up into the heavens
Our youthful fortitude is like the mountain snow
We are not afraid to face our difficulties head on

བསིལ་བསིལ་རླུང་བུའི་སྐྱིད་ལ་བློ་སིམ་ཡོད།

སྤྲིན་པ་ནག་པོ་ངེས་མེད་རྒྱུ་ན་ཡང།
Drin pa nag po ngey mey gyu na yang
དྭངས་གསལ་མཚོ་མོ་འཇགས་ལ་གཡོ་བ་མེད།
Dang sel tsho mo jak la yo wa mey
My homeland is in a place near to the moon
We take joy in the pleasant and cooling winds
Though the dark clouds could come and go at any time
The tranquility of the sparkling clear lakes is never shaken

ཆར་ཆུ་གྲོགས་སུ་བྱས་ཏེ་མཁའ་མཐར་འདྲེས།

གཞོན་པ་ང་ཚོའི་བློ་རྒྱ་མཚོ་དང་འདྲ།
Shon pa nga tshö lo gya tsho dang dra
དྲང་བདེན་ལས་འབྲས་དབྱེ་བར་དོགས་པ་མེད།
Drang den ley drey ye war dok pa mey
My foremother is the turquoise lake
With the help of rain and rivers, it merges with the ends of the heavens
Our youthful vision is like the lake
We do not have any doubts about distinguishing the truth and the result of our actions

འགྲོ་བ་རིགས་དྲུག་ཀུན་ལ་མ་འདང་ཡོད།

དགྲ་བགེགས་གནོད་བྱེད་ངེས་མེད་བྱུང་ན་ཡང།
Dra geg nö chey ngey mey jung na yang
བྱང་སེམས་སྙིང་རྗེའི་ཡིད་ལ་འགྱུར་བ་མེད།
Jang sem nying jey yi la gyur wa mey
My homeland is in a place well-acquainted with peace
There is motherly love for all the six classes of beings
Even though enemies, calamities, and harms may strike at any time
There is no change in our compassionate bodhicitta minds
ང་ཡི་བླ་མ་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་ཡིན།
Nga yi la ma jang chub sem pa yin
ཉེ་རིང་ཆགས་སྡང་དོར་ནས་བཏང་སྙོམས་རྙེད།
Nye ring chag dang dor ney tang nyom nye
གཞོན་པ་ང་ཚོའི་ཡིད་ཆེས་མེ་དང་འདྲ།
Shön pa nga tshö yi chey me dang dra
རྨོངས་པའི་མུན་པ་གཞོམ་ལ་ཐེ་ཚོམ་མེད།
Mong pay mun pa shom la the tshom mey
རྨོངས་པའི་མུན་པ་གཞོམ་ལ་ཐེ་ཚོམ་མེད།
Mong pay mun pa shom la the tshom mey
My guru is a bodhisattva
We have found equanimity by doing away with partiality and prejudice
Our youthful convictions are like a fire
There’s no doubt that the darkness of ignorance will be destroyed
