Note: I have purposefully altered the second to last line in the last verse. This is because the lyrics written in the video at that point is clearly not the same as what is being sung. The meaning is more or less the same, although I inserted the word སྲུང་ (sung) which means to 'defend' or 'protect' which sounds like what he is saying and also fits the context. The original particle according to the lyrics was ཀྱི་ (kyi) which usually means 'of,' 'belonging to,' 'for,' etc., although that is clearly not what is being sung there.
Please also note: Dr. Lobsang Sangay was democratically elected by Tibetans in India and around the world to be the Kalon Tripa of Tibet. He took oath of office on August 08, 2011.
In September 2012 the Tibetan Parliament in exile approved the change in the title of Kalon Tripa to Sikyong.
