Note: I made a correction in one of the lines. Where it reads ཕ་ས་གྲུ་བཞི་སྲོང་སྐྱོབས་བྱོས།། (Pha sa drub shi song kyob jö), the original line it the video reads: ཕ་ས་གྲི་བཞི་སྲོང་སྐྱོབས་བྱོས།། (Pha sa drib shi song kyob jö); the syllable ་གྲི (dri) means "knife" or "blade" and does not seem to make sense within this context (it would mean something like "Protecting the four blades of the father-land"). By changing the vowel, it seems to make perfect sense. However, I cannot tell exactly what the singers are actually singing in this instance (due to their thick Amdo accents), so I cannot be fully certain it is correct--although it does seem to at least match what they are singing to my ears. This is only speculation, but I get a strong feeling that this song is about His Holiness the Dalai Lama. There is another famous song "Aku Pema" which is a song popular among Tibetans within Tibet about His Holiness, giving him the pseudonym "Uncle Lotus Blossom"; since this song also sings of an uncle, it seems to accord with the spirit of that song. Many of the words of praise in this song also seem befitting for His Holiness. However, some of the lines do not seem *quite* befitting of someone like His Holiness; though this *could* be done on purpose, in order to make it less obvious and more esoteric. This is all just my speculation of course, but it is interesting to contemplate.
