Song: Auspicious Words for the New Year

 Singer: Pelgön

La ma kön chok sum dang yi dam lha
Ten sung dam chen gyam tshö thu tob kyi
Ta shi nam kar sam dön yi shin drub

The Lama, the Triple Gem, and the Yidam deity,
The sole father of all the victorious ones, the treasury of knowledge [Lord Manjusri],
And an ocean of oath-bound protectors of the teachings--it's through their power that
Auspiciousness, virtue, and every wish is fulfilled.

Lü la ta shi ney mey de way tsho
Sem la ta shi sam dön drub pay kyi
Bön lob ta shi yang gi tsho mo khyil
Pün tshok ta shi gen tshen bar gyur chik

Physically, may there be comfortable livelihood, auspicious and healthy.
Mentally, may there be the joy of wishes fulfilled auspiciously.
For masters and disciples, may the lake of prosperity and auspiciousness converge.
May perfect signs of auspiciousness and virtue blaze forth.

Lhak sam lho drin truk pay long yang ney
Drak nyen yu druk key nyen chok chur dir
Mey chung ta shi gen tshen gye pa dang
De kyi pün sum tshok pay ta shi shok
De kyi pün sum tshok pay ta shi shok

From the vastness of space which is pervaded by the southern clouds of pure intentions,
The pleasant sound of the turqoise dragon roars throughout the ten directions.
May auspicious and wondrous signs flourish;
May there be the auspiciousness of complete and perfect joy.
